Kate Nealon is a non-executive director at HBOS plc, the UK’s largest mortgage bank and at Cable & Wireless. She also serves as a non-executive director to the Independent Regulator of the NHS Foundation Trusts and as a Senior Associate of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

An American qualified lawyer with extensive international experience, Kate has held senior positions in the US and the UK which have focused on material legal, governance and regulatory issues. As a consultant to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development she recently presented an Anti-Money-Laundering and Anti-Terrorism programme for several Eastern European countries aspiring to join the European Union.

Kate’s accomplishments have been widely recognised with many professional awards including Best in Corporate Governance – Blue Chips Award 2004. Kate has been a speaker at the World Economic Forum and on various other programmes.
