Kate Nealon
Advisory Board
Kate Nealon is a non-executive director at Cable & Wireless
Communications PLC and formerly Non Exec Director at Shire PLC and HBOS.
She is a Senior Associate of the Judge Business School, University of
Cambridge, a member of the International Advisory Board of Georgetown
Law School and a member of the Advisory Council of the Institute of
Business Ethics.
An American qualified lawyer with extensive international experience,
Kate has held senior positions in the US and the UK which have focused
on material legal, governance and regulatory issues. As a consultant to
the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development she recently
presented an Anti-Money-Laundering and Anti-Terrorism programme for
several Eastern European countries aspiring to join the European Union.
Kate’s accomplishments have been widely recognised with many
professional awards including Best in Corporate Governance – Blue Chips
Award 2004 and winner of the Georgetown University Law School Alumnae
award 2008. Kate has been a speaker at the World Economic Forum and on
various other programmes.
