Socia was created in 2001 by Alex Cameron and David Archer in response to the growing relevance of partnering and collaboration to business success. Our experience in the late 1990s had been of the controversy of public / private partnerships failing to deliver, the difficulty of businesses collaborating to exploit e-business opportunities, and the failure of internal shared service contracts to deliver their predicted benefits. We formed Socia to focus our management consultancy experience on tackling these collaboration problems and in the years that followed Socia has grown and broadened its reach to respond to the needs of our clients but always on the foundation of our experience in collaborative leadership.

Alex and David are supported by Alison Grant, our non-executive director who provides invaluable input into the Socia business plan and ensures that the governance of the business meets the highest standards.
