Alison Grant has spent the last 15 years working in the public sector marketplace, primarily in a sales or business development role. She has successfully developed business and run sales operations for BT, Sema Group, Andersen Consulting, and latterly Microsoft UK plc. A key strength is building and maintaining relationships, and Alison has been successful at establishing senior relationships both formally and informally during her career, at all levels of the civil service through to Cabinet Minister. She has a keen business and personal interest in the public service and how it can ‘deliver’ to its customers.

During her 6 years at Sema Group, she became their new business Public Sector Sales Director responsible for winning some of their major business within government. She was an Associate Partner in Andersen Consulting, leading the development of new business within the public sector market as well as supporting major sales campaigns into Government across Europe.

Latterly she has been working in a Government Relations role for Microsoft UK, having run the UK Public Sector Central Government and Defence Business for 18 months. Her current role involves developing senior relationships within key departments such as Cabinet Office and HMT.
