Clients and markets

At Socia our aim is to help clients ensure that their critical relationships deliver business results.

We work in three main areas:

  • collaborative leadership development. We work as coaches with individual leaders and executive teams, we also run workshop programmes where leaders from different backgrounds are encouraged to learn from each other. These activities are targeted at a mature leadership audience who already understand the basics of leadership, but need to build relationships, share control and handle conflict in complex inter-dependent situations.
  • public private partnerships. We work in all areas of Central and Local Government as well as with the private sector organisations that work in partnership with them. We enable organisations from different management cultures to work together more effectively, we help change behaviours and implement new ways of working to reduce costs and deliver improved outcomes for the public.
  • business-to-business relationships. We help clients focus on their critical business relationships, identifying the risks and the opportunities inherent in each of them. We work to build trust across those relationships, reducing conflict, speeding up decision making and creating strategies which maximise the future value (or cost savings) that can be created by organisations collaborating more effectively.
The confidential nature of our work precludes us from talking in detail about any of our client projects, but on each of the linked pages we include the logo’s of some of our recent clients in that area.

In his book, The Age of Paradox, Charles Handy looks at the concept of dual citizenship in organisations, which we explore in the context of partnership.
