Collaborative Leadership in a recession

We recently invited a number of our clients to a Socia Advisory Board Breakfast meeting on the subject of how leaders can build successful collaborations in a recession. The keynote speaker was Gerry O’Hagan – Supply Chain Director for Guinness and Baileys, and we had a very interesting plenary discussion with a number of public sector leaders in the audience about the ‘supply chain’ from policy formation through to delivery – and how Whitehall Departments sometimes viewed the many intermediaries in that chain, not as customers but almost as barriers between them and the public.
