Advising on stakeholder strategies

Collaborative leaders recognise that stakeholders (inside or outside their organisation) are key to their success. However, influencing stakeholders to get their constructive contribution and support is a critical skill and this takes a thoughtful strategy and the involvement of all of the leader’s executive team.

We work with leaders and their top teams to build effective stakeholder strategies by:

  • Matching the leader’s stakeholder influencing objectives and messages to the business strategy
  • Facilitating the development of a clear action plan that uses the skills and contributions of the whole team in order to build effective relationships with a small number of the most important stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the top teams have a practical approach to regularly reviewing their stakeholder strategies and plans
  • Mediating in cases where the relationships with stakeholders have broken down and issues need to be addressed and communication rebuilt.
