Partnership 360° Feedback Questionnaire
The purpose of this 360º feedback tool is to gather qualitative feedback on partnerships that have hit a critical phase of their development or are stuck in a particularly difficult situation. The questionnaire is used to gather data on the current state of the partnership, the contribution of the key players and the impact of their behaviour at critical moments in the partnering lifecycle. Like most 360º feedback instruments, it is designed to give senior managers personal and confidential feedback from a broad range of perspectives on the impact of their actions. However it does much more than this by also collating views from all parties on their perceptions of the structure and operation of the partnership, and how these contribute to its current state. All parties involved in the process can use this balanced set of data to help them resolve what otherwise may appear an intractable partnering situation.
Structure of the questionnaire
The feedback is structured around three categories of questions:
- partnership structure
- the operation of the partnership
- individual and group behaviours.
Partnership structure
In this section, we consider the structural components of the partnership (role definitions accountabilities, objectives, contractual issues, etc) that are influencing the effectiveness of the partnership and contributing to the current state.
Operation of the partnership
In this section, we consider how the partnership operates (its governance, processes, communications etc), the management habits that have developed with time and other aspects of the operation that have contributed to the current state.
Individual and group behaviours
This section deals with both group and individual behaviours. The feedback on individual behaviours has been requested by specific individuals, usually those in key positions in managing the partnership. These individuals will only see feedback on their own performance. Feedback on group behaviours will be seen by all parties.
