The new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C will provide zero-carbon electricity for 6 million homes. It is one of the largest and most complex construction projects in Europe and the Generating Company Board has asked Socia to carry out a Board effectiveness review. This is well timed to ensure that the Board and its governance system is fit for the future as the programme moves towards commissioning.
